How to take Atpark 25 mg Tablet

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, second/third-degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, and uncompensated heart failure unless directed. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly.

Do not take Atpark if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with a very slow heart rate, certain heart block disorders, or uncontrolled heart failure. Generally avoided in severe asthma.

Interactions with other medicines

Verapamil, diltiazem (risk of bradycardia/heart block), digoxin (bradycardia), clonidine (rebound hypertension on withdrawal), other antihypertensives/diuretics (additive hypotension), NSAIDs (may reduce antihypertensive effect), insulin/oral antidiabetics (masks hypoglycaemia), antiarrhythmics like amiodarone (conduction disturbances)

It may cause dizziness. If this happens to you, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. It can hide symptoms of low blood sugar if you are diabetic. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. Do not stop taking Atpark 25 Tablet suddenly as it can cause your blood pressure to rise suddenly, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.
