How Aztor Ez works

Aztor EZ 20 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.

How to take Aztor Ez

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aztor EZ 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Aztor Ez as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

LiverAztor EZ 20 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aztor EZ 20 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br/>Use of Aztor EZ 20 Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
