Composition

Cilnidipine 10 mg + Metoprolol succinate (extended-release) 50 mg tablet

Uses of Cilacar-M 10/50MG Tab

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); may be used when single-drug therapy is insufficient and to reduce risk of cardiovascular events associated with uncontrolled BP

How it works

Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (L/N-type) that relaxes blood vessels and reduces peripheral resistance. Metoprolol is a cardioselective beta-1 blocker that lowers heart rate and cardiac output and reduces renin release, helping lower blood pressure.

Directions for use

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew (metoprolol ER). Can be taken with or after food; continue regularly even if you feel well.
