Same salt, different brand — what does that mean?

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Migrabeta Plus Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.

All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.

Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.

How Migrabeta Plus Tablet works

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Flunarizine and Propranolol. Flunarizine acts on the brain and nervous system to control the symptoms of your condition. Propranolol slows the heart and reduces the force of each beat by blocking the effect of adrenaline, so the heart works less hard and uses less oxygen.

How to take Migrabeta Plus Tablet

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or after food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
