Seloken XL 100 Tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate (95mg). It belongs to the Cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic blocker (beta-blocker) class of medicines.

How to take Seloken XL 100 Tablet

Tablet (extended-release): take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew/break. Can be taken with or without food, preferably with food to improve tolerability. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Missed dose and overdose

Other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering), verapamil/diltiazem, digoxin (risk of bradycardia/heart block), amiodarone/antiarrhythmics, clonidine (rebound hypertension if stopped improperly), insulin/oral antidiabetics (masked hypoglycemia), NSAIDs (may reduce BP-lowering effect), CYP2D6 inhibitors such as fluoxetine/paroxetine/quinidine (may increase metoprolol levels), alcohol (may increase dizziness)
