Progesterone (50mg)
Strone AQ 50 Injection is used for female infertility and hormone replacement therapy. It is also used to restore menstruation in women with secondary amenorrhea (the absence of menstrual cycles).
Strone AQ 50 Injection is a progesterone (female hormone). It helps to establish and maintain pregnancy. It also prevents the increase in thickness of the endometrium (lining of the uterus) caused by estrogen.
For injection use only. Administer only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional; dose, route (IM/IV/SC) and frequency depend on the medicine and condition being treated.
Use only on prescription and by trained personnel. Do not use if the ampoule/vial is damaged, solution is discoloured, or past expiry. Monitor for allergic reactions after injection. Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Strone Aq 50 Inj. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
