How to take Thyrorich Plus Tablet

Tablet: take as directed by physician/dietitian. Commonly 1 tablet once daily after food with water; do not exceed the recommended dose. If you are on levothyroxine, keep a gap of at least 4 hours unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Thyrorich Plus as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Thyrorich Plus than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Thyrorich Plus Tablet

Most side effects of Thyrorich Plus are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Warnings and precautions

Not a substitute for thyroid medicines (e.g., levothyroxine). Use with caution in hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, or autoimmune thyroid disease unless advised by a doctor. Excess iodine/selenium intake can worsen thyroid problems—avoid combining with other thyroid/iodine supplements. Diabetics and patients with kidney disease should consult a doctor before use. Stop and seek medical advice if you develop rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, or severe GI symptoms.

Interactions with other medicines

May reduce absorption of levothyroxine (if contains iron/calcium/soy)—separate by 4 hours. Possible interaction with antacids/mineral supplements (reduced absorption). If containing biotin, it can interfere with thyroid lab tests—stop 48–72 hours before testing as advised.
