Alpha Lipoic Acid (100mg) + Folic Acid (1.5mg) + Methylcobalamin (750mcg) + Pregabalin (75mg) + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) (1.5mg)
Neuropathic pain
Trinerve Forte Capsule is a combination of five medicines: Alpha Lipoic Acid, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, Pregabalin and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Alpha Lipoic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid which has a protective effect on the brain and nerve tissues. Folic Acid provides essential nutrients to the nerves. Methylcobalamin and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) are forms of vitamin B which help in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Trinerve Forte Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Trinerve Forte Cap. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
