Amlokind-H relaxes the muscle in the walls of your arteries so blood flows with less pressure. Keeping blood pressure down protects you from stroke, heart attack and kidney damage over the years.

In Angina

Amlokind-H widens the vessels that supply the heart and eases its workload, so you get fewer episodes of chest pain and can do more before pain comes on.

In Heart failure

Amlokind-H clears the fluid that collects in the lungs and legs when the heart is weak, so breathing is easier and the swelling in your ankles goes down.

In Fluid retention

Amlokind-H makes you pass more urine so that trapped fluid leaves the body, relieving swelling and the heaviness and discomfort that go with it.

AlcoholCAUTION

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this medicine. Limit it.

PregnancyUNSAFE

Not recommended in pregnancy. It may harm the developing baby, so tell your doctor at once if you are or might be pregnant.

Breast feedingUNSAFE

Not recommended while breastfeeding.

DrivingUNSAFE

Do not drive or operate machinery while taking this medicine.

KidneyCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Consult your doctor if you have kidney disease.

LiverCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Consult your doctor if you have liver disease.

• Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate.
• It may cause dizziness or sleepiness.
• Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
• It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension).
• Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
• It may cause dehydration.
• Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
• Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while you are taking this medicine.
