Dabirex 110 mg Capsule is a novel oral anticoagulant (NOAC). It works by preventing the formation of blood clots in the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dabirex 110mg Capsule may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you missed a dose of Dabirex 110mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible on the same day. The missed dose should be skipped if it cannot be taken at least 6 hours before the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Dabirex than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Dabirex are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Dabirex. Some combinations can change how Dabirex works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Dabirex below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Dabirex 110mg Capsule increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football and wrestling). If you are going to have surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Dabirex 110mg Capsule temporarily. Your doctor may get a blood test done to check kidney function before starting treatment with this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor.
