Gudpres-Am 50 Tablet

Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.

In High blood pressure

Gudpres-Am relaxes the muscle in the walls of your arteries so blood flows with less pressure. Keeping blood pressure down protects you from stroke, heart attack and kidney damage over the years.

In Angina

Gudpres-Am widens the vessels that supply the heart and eases its workload, so you get fewer episodes of chest pain and can do more before pain comes on.

In Heart failure

Gudpres-Am protects a weakened heart from the stress hormones that would otherwise strain it further, improving how well it pumps over time and lowering the risk of hospital admission.

In Irregular heartbeat

Gudpres-Am steadies the heart's rhythm and keeps the rate from racing, which eases palpitations and the dizziness or breathlessness that come with them.

Alcohol

Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

PregnancyUNSAFE

Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingSAFE

Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

DrivingCAUTION

May cause drowsiness or affect your concentration. Do not drive until you know how it affects you.

KidneySAFE

Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER is recommended.

LiverCAUTION

Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gudpres-AM 50 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
