Nebula-D Tablet contains Nebivolol (5mg) + Indapamide (1.5mg).
Nebula-D Tablet SR is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.
Nebula-D Tablet SR is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Nebivolol and Indapamide. Nebivolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Indapamide is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebula-D Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Nebula-D as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Nebula-D than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Nebula-D are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | Nebula-D Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. |
|---|---|
| Breastfeeding | Nebula-D Tablet SR is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Alcohol | Taking Indapamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. |
| Kidney | Nebula-D Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nebula-D Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
