How Revas At works

Revas AT Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Losartan. Atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

How to take Revas At

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Revas AT Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Revas At as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

BreastfeedingRevas AT Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
AlcoholTaking Losartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.
KidneyRevas AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Revas AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.
