Telmisartan (40mg) + Amlodipine (5mg) + Chlorthalidone (12.5mg)
Telma Act 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.
Telma Act 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telma Act 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Telma Act 40/5/12.5 Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
