Amlodipine 2.5 mg (as amlodipine besylate)

Uses of Amlovel 2.5MG Tab

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); management of chronic stable angina and vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina.

How it works

Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It relaxes blood vessels by reducing calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle, lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow to the heart, which helps prevent angina.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
