Dydrogesterone (10mg)
Treatment of progesterone deficiency states such as irregular/absent periods (secondary amenorrhoea), abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance, dysmenorrhoea, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), infertility due to luteal phase defect, threatened or recurrent miscarriage due to luteal insufficiency; used as part of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with estrogen to protect the endometrium
Dydrogesterone is a synthetic progestogen that mimics the action of natural progesterone. It transforms the endometrium into the secretory phase, stabilizes the uterine lining, and supports implantation and maintenance of pregnancy in luteal insufficiency.
Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor; dosing depends on indication and menstrual cycle day. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day and swallow with water. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Dydrocad-10MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Use only under medical supervision. Inform doctor if you have liver disease, history of blood clots/thromboembolism, unexplained vaginal bleeding, hormone-dependent cancers (breast/uterine), depression, or porphyria. Seek urgent care for symptoms of thrombosis (leg swelling/pain, chest pain, shortness of breath), severe headache/visual changes, or jaundice. In HRT use, regular breast and gynecologic check-ups are advised.
