Uses of Inderal F5

Inderal F 5 Tablet SR is used for preventive treatment of migraine.

How it works

Inderal F 5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevents migraine.\tPropranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (csd- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Inderal F 5 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
