Rosuson ASP 75 Capsule is used in the treatment of prevention of heart attack and stroke.

How Rosuson Asp 75 Capsule works

Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the __bad__ cholesterol (ldl), triglycerides and raises the __good__ cholesterol (hdl). Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) with anti-platelet action. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. This way Rosuson ASP 75 Capsule prevents blockade of blood vessels and reduces risk of heart attack, angina, or stroke.

How to take Rosuson Asp 75 Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Rosuson ASP 75 Capsule is to be taken with food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Rosuson Asp as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Rosuson Asp than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
