Telmisartan (20mg)
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack/stroke) in high-risk patients as advised by doctor
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks AT1 receptors, causing blood vessels to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
