How Vitel Ct 40 Tablet works

Telmisartan and chlorthalidone, which lower blood pressure effectively. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin, thereby relaxing blood vessels. This allows the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time, it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

How to take Vitel Ct 40 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vitel CT 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Vitel CT 40 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Vitel Ct than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Vitel CT 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Vitel CT 40 Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, very dry mouth, or muscle weakness. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Use of Vitel CT 40 Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe. It may also decrease the risk of stroke and heart attacks.
